I’m Ato, a front-end developer based in Arlington, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C. I currently work at SIDEARM Sports, building websites for Division I and Division II college athletic programs.

What I enjoy most about front-end development is that I get to make something tangible. I can take an idea, build it, see it working, and keep making it better.

A lot of my experience has been in agency-style work, moving between different clients and websites. That has taught me how to adapt, work within different systems, and pay attention to the details that make a site feel finished.

Lately, I’ve been thinking beyond individual site builds, especially about product decisions, reusable systems, and tools that become part of how people work or go about their day. That’s the direction I’m continuing to grow toward.
