This site brought several kinds of regional content into one place, from economic-development resources to stories about the people and businesses in Greater Binghamton.
The focus
There was a lot going on, so the challenge was making the pages feel related without making every section look the same. I worked from the visual direction to build flexible layouts that could handle the different kinds of content.
What I worked on
- Responsive front-end development
- Translation of visual designs into reusable layouts
- Content-rich page templates
- Interaction and browser testing
I like this project because it had a strong visual point of view, but the implementation still needed to be practical and reusable behind the scenes.
